Currently, ProteusDx™ testing is not covered by most insurance plans. However, we offer competitive self-pay pricing and can provide detailed receipts for HSA/FSA reimbursement or out-of-network claims.

How accurate is the Video Capsule Endoscopy (VCE)?

Our FDA-cleared VCE technology has 99.8% accuracy for detecting GI abnormalities in the small bowel. It captures over 50,000 images during its 8-hour journey through your digestive tract, providing comprehensive visualization without sedation.

What if my results show something concerning?

If your results indicate any concerning findings, our nurse practitioners will contact you immediately to discuss next steps. We provide referrals to gastroenterologists and specialists as needed, and can coordinate follow-up care.

Can I upgrade my tier after ordering?

Yes, you can upgrade your testing tier before your sample is processed. Contact our support team with your order number, and we'll calculate the price difference and send you a payment link.

How long does my service code remain valid?

Service codes are valid for 60 days from the date of issue. If your code expires, please contact your nurse practitioner to request a new one.
